Bassmaster Elite Fishing Pro Commits To Help
Make A Difference |
Tulsa, OK, - November 9, 2011 –
100,000 Kids In The Outdoors™ Foundation, a
cause oriented organization for kids, is proud
to announce that Scott Ashmore, a Bassmaster
Elite Fishing Professional, will be a part of
helping to spread the message of helping kids
through the outdoors as he travels and fishes
tournaments on the professional bass fishing
circuit in 2012.
For Ashmore the opportunity to utilize what he
does for a living to help further a cause that
helps kids in a simple, but powerful way, is one
that he values and looks forward to being a part
of.

I do through professional fishing and to
interact with thousands of fans from
around the country – adults and kids
alike. As a Father and a representative
of my sport, I feel I have the
responsibility to help kids, and this
cause is a perfect fit”, stated Ashmore. |

The logo for 100,000 Kids In The Outdoors™ will
appear on Ashmore’s tournament jerseys, his tow
vehicle, boat, and on
www.scottashmore.com.
“We are grateful for Scott’s willingness to
display our logo. But, most importantly we
believe that thousands more will be inspired
into action to help kids through the outdoors
because of Scott’s active participation in our
cause”, according to the Founder of the cause,
Shannon Young.
Plans are currently in the works to provide
events where kids can have some personalized
attention and learn more getting involved with
fishing with the help of Ashmore. According to
Ashmore, “I look forward to being able to help
kids discover a passion that has made a huge
difference in my life.”
The focus of 100,000 Kids In The Outdoors™
Foundation is helping kids through the outdoors
who do not have someone to take them. According
to Young, “I have known Scott for many years,
and he does not take his role in the outdoor
industry lightly. The fact that he jumped at the
chance to help make a difference in the lives of
thousands of kids shows where his heart is.”
